Our training needs analysis for drowning prevention starts with risk and operational profiling – based on a number
of factors including the shape, depth and type of pool, typical user profiles, bather numbers and operational systems.

RLSS UK, National Rescue Test for Teachers and Coaches of Swimming

RLSS UK, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. The National Benchmark Award.

RLSS UK, Emergency Response for Swimming Pools

For pools where the risk assessment indicates that continuous supervision is not necessary and/or to enable ancillary staff to support the Lifeguard team.

RLSS UK, National Rescue Test for Teachers and Coaches of Swimming

The NRASTC is a supervision and rescue qualification for teachers working on the poolside or in the water during programmed activities, such as a swimming lesson. It is suitable for teachers working in a wide range of swimming pools, including pools where the water is deeper than the teacher’s standing depth.

Aquatic Therapy Shallow Pool Rescue Award (ATSPRA)

The ATSPRA is a supervision and rescue qualification for therapists, teachers and support staff working on the poolside or in the water during activities such as, aquatic therapy or therapeutic exercise/play.

National Pool Lifeguard

The NPLQ covers all elements of Pool Rescue Techniques, Lifeguarding Theory, First Aid and CPR. The course is physically demanding and will include swimming to set times, lifting casualties and diving to the deepest part of the swimming pool.
